ESOCS Prelate Bob-Manuel Visits Ijebu Province, Commissions ₦50m Project, Ordains Members

It was a 2-day event of spiritual refreshing and infrastructural hope as His Most Eminence, Elder Dr. D.L. Bob-Manuel, Orimolade IX, Prelate of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim (ESOCS) Church Worldwide, made a historic pastoral stop at Ijebu Province during his official visit to Central Management Council (CMC) 12 on Monday, 27 April, 2026.

The visit, which drew hundreds of faithful, was marked by three major assignments: the commissioning of a ₦50 million provincial building project, the ordination of members into key spiritual and administrative offices, and strategic one-on-one interactions with members and provincial administrators.

“Ijebu Province is strategic to the end-time agenda of God for this nation,” His Most Eminence declared while performing the commissioning of the multi-million naira edifice. “This project is not just blocks and cement; it is an altar of revival, a hub for empowerment, and a testimony that the Church is not only concerned with Heaven, but with earthly relevance.”

Church sources confirmed that the ₦50 million project will serve as the new Ijebu Provincial Administrative Offices, with completion expected within a few months. The facility is designed to serve ESOCS members through social and spiritual interventions.

In a solemn yet colorful ceremony, the Prelate ordained dozens of members into key spiritual ranks, charging them to “serve with the fear of God, integrity, and sacrifice.”

“Leadership in ESOCS is not a title for pride, but a towel for service,” Bob-Manuel admonished. “Ijebu Province must raise men and women who will combine deep spirituality with excellence in governance.”

The pastoral visit also featured spiritual sessions and one-on-one meetings, where the Prelate listened to the burdens of members, prayed for families, and met with provincial administrators to review the state of the Church.

Speaking on the sidelines, Chairman of Ijebu Province, Senior Apostle Segun Demuren Jr., described the visit as “a divine seal of approval” on the Province. “For the Prelate himself to commission this project tells us that Ijebu is on God’s map for a major revival. We are grateful.” Members who interacted with His Most Eminence said the visit renewed their faith, leaving them with high hope.

Addressing journalists during the visit, which ended on Tuesday, 28 April, 2026, Dr. Bob-Manuel warned Nigerians against vote-buying and voting based on sentiment rather than competence ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Prelate’s stop at Ijebu Province is part of his broader pastoral visit to CMC 12, a circuit covering several provinces in the South-West. Church officials say the tour aims to strengthen structures, enforce doctrinal soundness, and position ESOCS for greater societal impact.

With the ₦50 million project now officially kicked off and new leaders ordained, ESOCS faithful in Ijebu Province say they are entering a new season of growth — spiritually and structurally.
